Claudia Cazacu

In 1998, Claudia moved to London to study Finance and Banking. In London, she discovered club life and an interest in electronic music. In 2006, she began her career as a DJ and soon began producing her own tracks. In 2007, she founded her own record label, Couture.

For her first vocal production, Falling Free, she collaborated with Audrey Gallagher. The production was quite successful and received support from Armin van Buuren – he included the track in his annual compilation A State of Trance 2009. In 2010, Cazacu appeared for the first time in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs, being ranked 93rd. Thus, she was the only female DJ on the list, and was therefore often referred to as The World's No.1 Female DJ. Since 2011 Cazacu has also had a monthly radio show, called Haute Couture.
